Re-doing our kitchen and ideally I'd like to have granite. I'm trying to decide if maybe corian would be a suitable alternative to save a little cash. If you have it do you like it? Any pros or cons?
Re: Anyone have corian?
Make sure you get real Corian brand counter tops. My old house had some off brand that the previous owners put in and the color faded from the sun after only a couple of years.
The look of Corian isn't my personal favorite but it's very user friendly.
Thank you all for your input- so helpful!
And MaineWifey- did not know that! Thanks for the heads up.
I had it in my first house and it was fine. It held up really well.
So Tasty, So Yummy
I love my corian countertops "Raincloud." Personally, I think granite may be on its way out with the popularity of marble and now quartz. This looks just like marble to me...maybe better! Love it. You can see pics here: http://gildedmint.blogspot.com/2012/07/how-to-update-your-kitchenwithout.html
Good Luck!
