Cooking/Baking turkey for lunch meat
Hi all. Sorry if this has been posted before. In an attempt to get away from processed foods and lower our sodium intske, I have decided to start cooking my own turkey for our sandwiches during the week. This week I'm planning on using an injectable marinade, but I'm just curious if anyone else does this and how you season it prior to cooking, to have some different ideas. TIA!
Re: Cooking/Baking turkey for lunch meat
I was just going to say the same thing. My mom used to do that when we were little for our lunches. She'd just buy the turkey breast and cook that. It's a heck of a lot easier than cooking the whole dang turkey.
