NDR dress shopping

I feel like I'm always posting non decor/reno stuff. Sorry about that. We are on a spending freeze until our other house sells. We had an offer accepted and the inspections are this Friday morning! Yay! I think it should go well. Anyway, I'm dress shopping and I HATE dress shopping. I'm not a big girl but ever since I had the baby I an 15 lbs heavier and you can def tell in the tummy, legs and butt area. I don't want anything short (to the knee is preferable), nor do I want it form fitting. I need it for a bridal shower and I may even have to wear it to their wedding.I also don't want to pay too much. See why I hate dress shopping?! Here are a few things I found:

Classic Shirt Dress in Coral $40:

This I really really like but it's $84! in Gold:

And I love this soft color block with pleats $38.40. Just not sure if it's too short:

Anyone else come across a dress I might like? I'll check out my marshalls and tjmaxx in a few weeks too.

Re: NDR dress shopping

  • Do you have a Ross near you? It's my go-to place for dresses. They are all very reasonably priced (under $30) and CUTE!

  • Of the three you posted, I think the third one (it's an LC dress right) is the best choice. If you give some perimeters in terms of cost, though, I could go on an online hunt for you.

  • Check the Land's End website.

I just got their new catalog today and there was tons of cute dresses I wanted. They are more on the spendy side though, but they usually have fun stuff on sale too.

  • I really don't want to go over $50 if I don't have to. I know that's not a big budget for a dress Sad

  • This isn't one specific dress but I did a shopstyle search for day dresses under $50. Hope this helps!
