If you were purchasing ceiling fans for two rooms that will eventually become kids rooms but for the moment are an office and a guest room would you just purchase the fans in white so that they continue to go with everything? Or would you do something that is more a light wood and antique pewter?

Neither? The white one looks cheap (shiny) & there is just something strange about the wood one.

Okay thanks. I guess I'll keep looking. I don't really like the light wood, I do like the white, it doesn't look quite so shinny in the larger pictures on the website. I'm hoping I can find it in store to look at in person.

Do we like it with the bowl light better than the three separate lights?

The bowl is definitely better than 3 cans.

KC our other fans are those colors, but being that these will be in what will be kids rooms I wanted white so it goes with everything.

Thanks for the input ladies. I need to see if I can find both in stores so I can see which I like better.

We have all white in the bedrooms (came with the house), we have the bowl one with dark blades in the living room.  I love that one.  It gives some color up there.  I have been toying with changing the fans in the other rooms because white is too blah for me.
