FUC|<

So, I was attempting to curl my hair for the umpteenth time and burned myself on the chest with the curling iron!

*** it hurts! And my hair still looks like crap (all that and I just pulled it into a pony tail).

I have like 2 weeks to figure this out before I have to do my own hair for a wedding. Why am I such a failure? It's just a freaking curling iron.

Re: FUC|<

  • Ow! I have no curling advice, but put some Neosporin on that burn!

  • Ouchie!     You are not a failure!  Maybe accident prone, but not a failure if you don't give up!     Maybe try to YouTube some style instructions?  I am not great with doing my own hair either, so I understand your frustrations.     Sorry today was not a good hair day for you!

  • I actually find it kind of funny that my sister and three cousins are all hair dressers and yet I can't master anything beyond a straightener.

I'll get it eventually. Youtube is a good idea!

But my burn hurts. And it looks like a giant hicky right above my boob.

  • Try the sock -> curly hair.

Otter tried it, I think, and it worked.

    I saw it on Pinterest

Just googled. Is it this: http://aspottedpony.com/for-moms/how-to-use-a-sock-to-get-beautiful-curly-hair-without-heat/1517/

Oh my, that looks so simple! I'm going to try it tonight and I will report back in the morning!

Wouls it be possible for one of them to help you out?

I'm sure they could. I might ask my sister to help. But I'm going to definitely try the sock thing tonight.
