Guys, I don't want to spend another day home with the kids
omg, I just want to go to work, lol
Sophia has been home sick since friday, I got sick saturday and Anna sunday. Anna is still feeling crappy, but Sophia and I are both better. I still have tons of laundry to do, even though I've been doing laundry non stop since friday. I'm so sick of this crap.
They have to be "vomit-free" for 48 hrs to go back to daycare. Sophia puked once sunday and once last night. Why?? That means home today and tomorrow? I kinda want to ignore last night's vomit and send them back tomorrow.

Re: Guys, I don't want to spend another day home with the kids
wbl, he is supposed to hear today or tomorrow. Or maybe friday. Ugh. She said it was between him and another candidate, she said he was the best candidate, and she is now checking references. So he should get it, reight? Except she also said "I'm worried you'll get bored here, maybe you are too good for this job". WTF? I'm starting to think the CEO is cuckoo, and it will almost be a good thing if he doesn't get it.
At least with all the puking this weekend, he didn't have time to stress about this, lol
I would ignore last nights vomit like that other parent ignored the hand/foot and mouth disease. Is that flameful?
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted and used against you. My Blog
Thanks guys, I think I'll do that. I was thinking if you guys flamed me I'd keep her home, lol.
It used to be 24 hrs, and they changed it this year to 48 per new official government guidelines.
::hi fives papie::
right there with you sister.
I always think poop is more of an indicator of if the illness is still in her body. If things are firming up in that category then I really think you are good to go.
Update: no daycare tomorrow. We'll see about thursday.
OMG, I just found Sophia covered in explosive diarrhea. (yes, I cleaned her before posting).
FUUUUUCCCCK
She was sick mostly friday and saturday. All better by saturday night. Except Sunday afternoon, as I thought she would be good for daycare monday, she puked all over me. Then was all good, except I found her in puke in her bed last night.
Again all better today, and now this. The fuckinggift that keeos on giving. SURPRISE, there is always more! Surprise, surprise, surprise!
Motherfuckingvirus.
Oh papie. This is effing terrible.
Listen to me, okay?
Put everyone who is still puking or schitting themselves on a clear liquid diet (with toast or crackers for the baby) for the next 24 - 36 hours. Give everyone's guts time to recovery from the virus.
After that period. do the BRAT diet for the same length of time. Then sloooooowly start introducing other foods.
Hopefully that'll help with some of the nastiness that keeps happening.
