Older brother's colon cancer is stage IIa, no lymph nodes affected, and he's had it removed surgically, no chemo/radiation even needed, just frequent checking for two years till he's cleared. thank you god. Please keep him safe. He says he feels SO much better. this is the brother who was diagnosed in late Jan/Feb, told him it was stage III, had surgery a month ago, didn't tell anyone. I could strangle him, but of pure happiness/fury.
younger brother for sure has Hodgkins lymphoma, which means that huge growth in his lungs is not lung cancer, most likely. They're doing biopsies of his lung and hip today, removing a bunch of lymph nodes, and installing a chemo port. No staging as yet officially, but it looks like stage II and that's what they're telling him is most likely. Will know more later today. OMG. He has a long year ahead of him but it looks better and better than it did Friday/Sat/Sun. please please god keep him safe.
I am feeling less panicked.
Re: ok things are looking better
I'm glad that their prognosises (prognosi?) seem good! I really hope that everything goes well for them.
