Your baby is one of those super realistic dolls, isn't she?
She looks so beautiful and peaceful in all your photos.
Re: Tamb - tell the truth
I am glad I am not the first one to say it. Tamb! confess, right now.
lol
Ha! Thanks. She is definitely real - I have all the poopy diapers to prove it.
She is really easy so far except for having a hard time sleeping in her bassinet or crib. But she did sleep for about 45 minutes in the crib earlier! She's getting more alert every day. I hope she stays pretty calm and doesn't become a big crier.
She's seriously adorable. I love the pic with Emma!
And she's not going to love her crib or basinet right away. Most babies don't - they're so used to be all curled up and cozy inside you that it's a very difficult transition to the outside world.
I know a TON of parents who swear by the Fisher Price Rock N Play sleeper and have said that it's the only place their baby will sleep for extended periods of time. Have you looked into that?
OMG! That cat will suck her breath away! (that's what someone told me when our Pete would sleep with Danny when he was a baby). LOL
Several people have suggested the rock n play, but we have spent so much on baby gear already! I really don't want to spend any more. I guess I'll have to fork over the dough if she stays up all night when H goes back to work, though. Today is his last day off, and I'm scared. lol
Bailey and the cats are doing okay. Emma is the only one who seems jealous, which is no big surprise. I feel like I am neglecting Bailey though, and he is always SUPER excited when we let him out of his crate. I try to give him some attention when I'm not holding J or eating or pumping or etc., but we are still in the "settling in" period, and it's hard. We are letting him sleep in our bed still so that at least he can be close to us then.
lol
My kid still has problems sleeping the crib. he sleeps well in his car seat though! I might have to take the pp suggestion of the towel rolled under the mattress, hadn't thought of that.
She is precious, tamb!
The RocknPlay is the BOMB - tight swaddle, pop them in, tuck in light blanket around baby and bam, womb like conditions. It really is worth the money, truly.
Also, I would drag it into our bathroom and strap the kid in while I took a shower. I used it in many rooms of the house actually.
She is so gorgeous!
The RNP is honest to god, the best thing since sliced bread. You can even strap her in if you are worried about her rolling. Seriously, I have not one but two of them- one for home and one for daycare. They probably thought I was a cuucko but I don't care!
I second checking craig's list. Also, there is no need for that fancy one they have out now, just get the original.
Daycare is SO exhausting!
