We made it home this morning. Could have stayed an extra day but figured it's not a whole lot different being at home or being in the hospital, other than at home it's home which definitely nicer.
John is home with me today. My parents are on their way down and hope to spend a day with us as well so that way I have my mom's help tomorrow. Not sure what the deal is for Thursday yet, but I know John's mom offered to take Friday off to help. So we'll see...
Anyway I'm off for a nap while she is still sleeping, and then it'll be feeding time again!

That's great that you got to go home. Does John just get today off?
I know my parents were here when I had Mackenzie, but sometimes it just felt like they were more in the way than anything else. Just take the next couple days one day at a time and see how things go. Enjoy your little peanut and the sleeping while she sleeps is key!
This is a good tip, I'll definitely have to implement this!

He is sporadically taking days off. Today he took the entire day, tomorrow he plans to in for a 1/2 day. Thursday I'm not sure what he has going I think he may be home. Friday I know he is only working a 1/2 day and plans to be home for the afternoon.
They have one of the tech's in the lab who is leaving and her last day is on Friday and since John it taking her position he has some training he still needs to get on a few things she was in charge of. Then next week it will be down to two tech's making it much harder for him to take time off. He had originally said he would take a week, but now it'll be 1/2 days here and there. At least I have my SIL who lives a few minutes away who has offered to come and help as well! My MIL has offered to take a few days off of work if I need her to, so it's not like I don't have any help.
With my mom and dad coming, the reason it'll be nice is because if I have issues with her latching on while nursing my mom has had tons of experience and so she'll be able to help out. The other thing is they will only be here for a full day and two nights so I'm sure it won't be bad. She'll do some cooking etc. which will be nice.
