Re: PIP POLL: Something that you thought was beyond awesome as a kid/teen...
I LOVED this game. If I had it on my computer now I would probably play it for fun.
wbl- if I had those in plaid now I would probably wear them. I am not sure what that says about me.
Daycare is SO exhausting!
Blog
it totally is for us. H's uncle has a tetherball pole, and the games are extremely competitive among cousins. It is especially fun to watch now that they can all drink.
My awesome coveted items:
Suede jacket:
This hair:
Pegged jeans (because I never could do them correctly)
Frkls, Ska is still cool. Shut up.

Updated September 2012.
The bodysuit.
I still have my charm necklace! My mom saved it and I found it in a box of old crap. My son loves it and rocks it around the house every once in awhile. I will have to get a pic of him in it.
I had a pair of black knee-high riding boots in high school that I wore with a suede skirt ala Clair on Breakfast Club. I was the only girl in high school with a pair. They were black and I once wore them with a black and white houndstooth mini-skirt and black fishnets. I was so bad-ass and ahead of my time, it hurt. I made all the boys cry!
And the thing is, there's nothing lame about it, even in 2012. The only thing that's lame is that I now shop at Coldwater Creek. Oh, how far I've fallen since 1989.
Huh? You mean tetherball?
*gasp* This poster makes my heart flutter EVERY SINGLE TIME! I had it hanging in my room right over my stereo!
Is that what you call it in the US? I couldn't think what you guys called it here. I hadn't seen one with a ball like that before. This is what I had growing up in the UK. You used bats with it too.
I would kill for my cavariccis!
LOL. Word. Did you see my Kirk Cameron story the other day?
Also, for me, this:
