Printing from the iPad & other questions...
Please excuse my stupidity... For the life of me I can't figure out how to print from my iPad... it is possible, right?
Also...
- I can open word files on it, but can I edit them?
- Is there a way to plug my iPod into it and listen to music... I see it has iTunes.
- What the hell is my cloud?
Re: Printing from the iPad & other questions...
For the life of me I can't figure out how to print from my iPad... it is possible, right? You can print from an iPad if you have a wireless printer that supports AirPrint. If you don't, you need a wireless printer and buy a printing app from the app store.
I can open word files on it, but can I edit them? An app called Pages should have come installed on the iPad that is like Microsoft Word and lets you create and edit documents. You should be able to open the .doc file from your email and edit it in Pages app. There are also a bunch of word processing apps in the app store.
Is there a way to plug my iPod into it and listen to music... I see it has iTunes. You can connect both your iPod and iPad to your computer, open iTunes and drag music files from your iPod library to your iPad library. Then they're available to play on the iPad. iTunes app on the iPad is where you buy music, videos and books.
What the hell is my cloud? Cloud is most useful if you have more than one Apple device. Apps, books, music, calendars, photos etc that buy for your iPad would automatically show up on your other device, like an iPhone.
Pages doesn't come preloaded, but you can download it from the App Store for $10.
