I want to EAT ALL THE FOODS
Despite the fact that my H brought me a massive protein smoothie to school this afternoon I want to consume everything in sight. What I want more than anything is a cheese pizza but I hate daiya "cheese" and have yet to find a good substitute.
So for dinner I made myself a huge bowl angel hair pasta with vegan butter, salt, and pepper. I also ate two oranges, one banana, some pita chips and half an avocado. I'm debating on having a cliff bar too....
Do you ever have nights like this??
Re: I want to EAT ALL THE FOODS
Not really. My binge night would look more like this:
- 2 bowls of Cookie Crisp
- personal size frozen pizza
- honey mustard pretzels
- Twix bar (both halves)
LOL
LOL!
LOL. I am for real. I'm super starving too. If you have it please link me the funny eric carle video. I need a laugh today.
Me thinks you need some cookies. Or some ice cream. Or some cheese curls. Your body is rejecting the healthy- go with it!
Are you vegan by choice, or for health reasons? If you don't mind answering.
I think I am going to bake some cookies. I feel lazy though and that takes effort. I never keep junk food in the house because I will eat it all so times like this really suck.
Vegan by choice but I do enjoy the health benefits I gain from it.
There are videos? I didn't know that! I only have the board books
I have a lot of vegan friends and I can't recall ever hearing one of them admit they even crave non vegan foods. You just jumped up to number 1 in my list of favorite vegans.

Listen to his voice. He cracks me up - he's so matter of fact. I love him.

You are seriously killing me today.
If they ever claim they don't crave it they are terrible horrible liars. Either that or they are super heroes. I don't miss it all the time but there are days that I would give my left foot for some cheese pizza or rich baked goods.
I had buffalo tofu sliders for dinner tonight, but you're making me wish I had angel hair pasta and avocado instead.
Do you read Oh She Glows? She has some awesome vegan recipes.
Ok, this has been making me crazy. WHO ARE YOU?
I feel like you're a regular w/ a new SN, but I wasn't around for about 2 weeks, and missed all the intros of new sn's/ae's. Please, help me out here. I suck at figuring this stuff out.
Also, my cravings and evening snacks are more along the lines of what BAB posted, so I can't really relate to craving anything even remotely vegan. But more power to you for doing that, because heaven knows I would just say eff it, and get a cheese pizza after about 4 days.
I read oh she glows and peas and thank you. The recipes from both have been sort of lacking to me lately though... Have you tried her creamy avocado pasta salad? mmmmmm
Hi. I'm new. I'm a hungry caterpillar. I intro'd a week or two ago but have lurked here for a very long time (since 2010). I didn't want to be creepy anymore so I made a name and started posting.
I'm not cool enough to be a regular yet.
I have not, but you can bet I just bookmarked it.
aah, well then, allow me to extend you a belated welcome!
Ok, when I went vegan (well, I ate "the meat" b/c it was really just dairy and eggs I needed to avoid when nursing my kiddos), my go to's were :
1. Oreos
2. Coconut milk chocolate ice cream
3. Thick slices of toast covered in almond or sunflower butter w/ honey on top
4. Soy milk hot chocolate (still drink it w/ soy milk b/c it tastes much better to me - kinda nutty-ish!)
5. Vegan choc chip cookies from whole foods (or anything from their bakery section...they have good vegan cupcakes and breads)
Ok, so except for #4 I can't stand the site of any of those things now b/c I ate them non-stop last year....but there's my list of processed vegan friend junk food for ya
