What's going on this Wednesday, ladies? Everyone have a nice evening last night?
Tonight we are meeting up with our core group of friends for a birthday dinner. It's at a mexican restaurant, so I will probably indulge in a 'rita. My bestie even got her mom to babysit her 2-yr-old while we are dining so it will be only adults tonight, which is great!

Re: Hump Day!
Yay for birthday dinners!
I'm going to see my mom during lunch (I love working close!) I have a ginormous back of clothes that don't fit anymore (woot!) that she's going to offer to those she knows that could use the free clothes.
Just my luck, one of the girls is retiring and today is her parry, so I'll get to go to that while I'm there (mmm.. cake)
Tonight will be an interim date night with D. I go to the gym early, so when i get back, last I heard, the plan was to sit and watch a movie. That's all I know about it.
oooh, sounds like a good day in Pi's life! lunchout, party cake, and date night!
Speaking of getting rid of clothes, this morning on the local news one of the headlines said "Bong found in donation box at Goodwill". It wasn't me, mine usually end up getting broken before I am finished with them. hah
Good morning!! I have a bunch of stuff I should be doing right now, but I have absolutely no motivation to do any of it. So I am sitting here enjoying my coffee.
Last night was really good. I tried the pasta recipe that Apples posted about forever and a day ago, and it turned out really well. Even my picky husband enjoyed it.
Then we walked the dog, and watched some t.v. An overall, very relaxing evening.
Hahaha, oops - Hard to claim that misplaced property!
I've seen some bongs that, when clean, could make some really pretty center pieces..
Morning ladies!
Not much going on here. Busy day at work and then we have our home visit for our new dog that we are adopting. It's really a formality but my fellow volunteer is going to bring over her current foster and we're going to catch-up. I'm so excited! She's got the tiniest little Frenchie right now and I can't wait to smoosh her!
I'm so excited to have a girl dog! I can't wait to buy her all sorts of frilly things! Haha!

Pretty uneventful Wednesday for me. I have to work, as always, though my schedule looks like it is going to be a little crazy today, and then I get to come home to homework, followed by curling up on the couch with H for Survivor.
I hope you have fun at the birthday dinner!
My plans today are to go home, put on a movie, and snuggle with my dog on the couch til I fall asleep. I've been moving in this week, and unpacking and I'm running on NO sleep. Might be a popcorn-for-dinner and bedtime-at-7 kinda night. Lol.
H and I saw the Hunger Games last night. I enjoyed it, cried a little, went about my night. H told me it was like Twilight without the spakly vampires. I shot him an evil eye lol.
Today I over slept and it sucks because I wanted to go to class today. Oh well.
I'm glad you got to see it! And, what do you mean it isn't like Twilight, that's exactly why I have been avoiding the books, movies, and everything about it.
Kinda like I am avoiding all that 50 Shades of Grey stuff, since I found out it was originally named after the He-Man theme, "Master of the Universe". sounds dumb to me, haha.
See, its young adult literature, its a love story, but I think its better than Twilight-- the actors know how to act and Kristen Stewart rubs me the wrong way. If she fell off the face of the earth, I wouldn't care. Lol.
Have fun at your "adult" birthday dinner!
I'm just trying to wrap things up at work before I leave on vacation tomorrow. I can't wait to bake in the sun. S gave his notice this morning (woot!), and tonight I'm going to get a quick pedicure before I go home to do laundry and pack.
It's also Twilight fan fic with the names changed.
Tonight I have book club, so I'm looking forward to chatting about the book (that I loved!), and laughing and guzzling wine with my friends.
