Do any of you use yogadownload.com?
I have done some of their 20 minute free classes and really liked them, so I just bought a membership there, and am wondering what your favourite classes are.
Re: Do any of you use yogadownload.com?
It's a yoga website that has about a bajillion different classes, in all kinds of different styles.
Almost every class that they offer have 20, 30, 45 and 60 minute versions, so you can do it no matter how much time you have.
It would be helpful to have some previous experience with yoga because a lot of the classes are audio only (which is great to stick on your ipod if you're travelling, or if you want to go outside to do it) but lots of them have video too.
The 20 minute classes are all free, the rest you have to pay for. It's $1.99 to play a class once, anywhere from $4.99 to $6.99 if you want to download it to have forever. Or you can get a membership for $19.95 a month for unlimited downloads so you can build a whole library to use whenever you want.
I got the monthly membership for $9.95 because it was on sale for Earth Day, and it will continue on at that price for as long as I have it, which I thought was a pretty sweet deal.
Very interesting! It looks like it is still 9.95 a month.
What format do they download to your computer in? <- I am so computer illiterate, does that even make sense? I am just wondering if after you download it, could you burn it to disk and pop it in the dvd player. LOL
Daycare is SO exhausting!

The videos download as MP4 videos, I have no idea what that means so I don't know if you could burn it, lol. (Also computer illiterate here. I just play them on the computer).
The audio classes are MP3's, I know that I can put them into my itunes and play them on my ipod.
All of the 20 minute ones are free, so what I have done a few times is download three 20 minute videos for an hour long workout (although keep in mind that you'd end up doing the corpse pose three times, which is basically just lying there...)
Yay!
I just asked DH and you can convert an MP4 into something else that you can burn onto a dvd. Score, I am totally doing this. Thanks!
It will probably go over way better than the kickboxing video I attempted to do last night. It's a wonder I can walk today.
alz- do you have any type of on demand with your cable? Mine always has pretty decent beginner yoga videos.

It looks like there is a Pilates category on this site!
Awesome, thanks!
