I dont know if any of you remember but:
I am filling in for someone that has cancer. She has cancer of the appendix and they had no idea what to even say about her prognosis. She has been going through Chemo, had no immune system left and the Chemo and really been hurting her.
Well Monday they decided to do the MOAS (Mother of All Surgeries). The took out her spleen, removed her omentum and then gave her organs a hot chemo bath and scrubbed them with the chemo with a wire brush,
We have gotten a few updates.
Monday we got that the surgery went well.. doc was confident all that stuff.
Tuesday we got she is alert and wants her phone lol
Today was the best news! This came directly from her sister: X is in her room. She is in some pain. They had her sitting up and she was not pleased. She will try to walk soon. She saw Dr. and he told her the cancer is gone. She wept and he gave her a big hug and told her how strong and beautiful she is. She is fighting. You go girl!
Re: Trying hard not to cry.
the back story is she went in for surgery (they thought there was a cyst on her overy) ended up being a tumor on her overy and appendix ans they were both cancerous.
It started in th appendix and they didnt know much about it because its rare.
That is amazing news.
Daycare is SO exhausting!
