In anticipation of being told 'no running' by my ortho (I know it's coming, I just know it) I'd like to prep to start swimming a few times a week. I know how to swim, but that's really it. I am also using it to help learn to regulate my breathing better, which will help with MMA.
Obviously I need goggles, and I have no idea where to start! Any recommendations?
Thanks
Re: Recommend your goggles
the Speedo women's Vanquisher goggles are really popular.
I wear either those or Swedes.
These are the ones I have, I like them.
Swedish goggles
If you aren't used to sweedish, I wouldn't start with them, as it's easy to wear them too tightly and then it just sucks.
Speedo Womens Vanquishers are by far my favorites. You'll likely need to change the nose piece (they give you several), but they are awesome!
Bazinga!
Liz's Yarn
I got a pair of vanquishers and on recommendation from my BFF (also a swimmer) she said I should get the juniors because I have a tiny face and narrow nose. Can't wait to try them out! Thanks.
