I was a latecomer to this blog and have been reading it for about the past year. I remember a lot of bloggers referring to Brooklyn Limestone as if it was one of the major blogs, but I have to say in general I am disappointed in the content of late. Perhaps if I was really into travel photography or something I would like it better. I think I was too late to read all the posts on them renovating their home. I just wish she would do more design-related content like their shore home or the redocorating of their basement, but she starts and drops a lot of things and doesn't follow them through (at least on the blog).
Also, The Nester has been lacking for me lately too.
I'm thinking I need to do a clean-out of my blog reader.
Re: Do you read Brooklyn Limestone's blog?
Yes, completely agree.
And I unsubscribed from the Nester a couple weeks ago. I've actually been doing a clean-up of blogs b/c they've either sold out or are just boring w/no original content.

Years ago it was good - she posted about stripping their wood banister, redoing the bathrooms, etc. and it was pretty major renos. I stopped reading a few years ago.
I agree - a lot of blog start out as one thing, and evolve into something else over time. Not a bad thing, but sometimes they become something I am just not interested in anymore and i need to move on.
