Re: How many pizza's and drinks

  • When we did a pizza party I was told to estimate 2 slices per person plus an extra pie. The large pies at our local place are cut into 8 slices. With that math you'd need 40 slices for the adults, which is 5 pies, plus an extra pie so 6. The kids will probably eat 1 slice total if they're all under 3, so I'd figure one regular slice is 25 slices which is a little over 3 pies, so I'd do 4, which brings you to 10 pizzas. I'd rather have too much than run out so I might make it 11 or 12.

If you belong to a wholesale club I'd just buy a few cases of juice boxes, soda and water there. I don't know how to estimate for that so I'd overbuy and just store the leftovers.

  • 2-3 regular slices per adult so at least 6 there

1-2 small slices for kids so at least 4 there

So I say 10 at minimum 12 at maximum.

The drinks I would overbuy because you can have them at home...I say 2 per person so 50 juice boxes and 40 adults drinks (butI would do a 12 pack of coke, a 12 pack of sprite/ginger ale, 12 pack of diet coke, 12 pack of water--if you do 2 liters I would say 2 cokes, one sprite, one ginger ale, 1 diet)
