What to do for a pulled quad?
Apperantly I did not warm up enough for last nights game, and I am paying for it today. It is a pain I can ignore (unless I move a certian way) but I can feel it all they way up to my hip.
What is the best treatment that you found to help?
Edit because apparently I am can not think before noon
Re: What to do for a pulled quad?
Rest.
Ice.
Ibuprofen.
Gentle stretching of all the leg muscles when the soreness from just sitting goes away.
Repeat as necessary.
Rest, ice.
Maybe beer/wine/chocolate/whateveryourviceis.

This.. This ... And more of this.. :P
I pulled a muscle on the side of my knee last summer and it still hurts when I move certain ways.. The muscle needs to rest, but at some point you'll have to suck it up and move on. blah.
