New springtime view
I'm telecommuting from the bedroom today, and I'm enjoying our first new view in spring since finishing the remodel last summer.
Last year's view from our bedroom (now the guestroom):

Was the window relocated? Im thinking, "Whoa, disappearing neighbor!"
We redid the layout and moved the master. In the previous layout (done sometime in the 60s/70s we're guessing), there was only one large bedroom with two windows onto the driveway and the bathroom was on the back of the house with a tiny window to the back yard. We split the old bedroom, turned it into a 2-bedroom house, and put the bathroom in between the two bedrooms. The master is now at the back of the house. It still has 1 window on the driveway, but we were able to add the bay onto the back of the house. The view is no longer wasted on the tiny bathroom window. Such a huge difference without any change to the footprint of the house.
