I bought a pair of trouser jeans at Target this past weekend on clearance for $20 (size 8 GO ME!), and they fit well in the waist and hips, which is awesome, but they're a bit too long- even with heels. I've never gotten a pair of jeans professionally hemmed before. Is it worth it? I'm assuming it will cost $15-$20, which I'm ok with me because I would still only have $40 at the most invested in a pair of pants that fit me properly, something I haven't experienced in over a year. Yay? Nay? Will the hem still look the same?
Re: Hemming Jeans- Worth it?
I think it's well worth it--my pants hang so much better when they're the right length. The hem should look the same, and yeah, I think it's usually $15-20.
100% worth it.
The way I am built, mine are ALWAYS too long. I usually keep my jeans for several years too. If I get the length perfect, it totally makes it worth it.
