woohoo, vacation flights booked
yay, we have our dates and flights booked for our summer vacation which is the toughest part of the planning for me! **wipes forehead**
This year we are going to Alaska in July, which will be a very nice escape from the 100+ degree temps that we'll be having here in TX right around then. Hoping to do a whitewater rafting trip, which I have never done before. I can't wait!

Whereabouts in Alaska? I used to live in Anchorage when I was a kid.

We'll be mostly in Anchorage. We have a friend who lives there, so we'll spend most of our time there but might rent a car to go to some other city or to go camping. We will have over a week there, even enough time to do a 3 day cruise if I can convince him of it! I have heard the Alaskan cruises are some of the best as far as scenery goes.
Yay!!!! I'm jealous! That will be such an awesome trip.

That's exciting, I've always wanted to go to Alaska.
The hubby has family up there somewhrere, so I'm hoping maybe someday we can get up there to visit them.
