Tamb, do you have a Rock N Play?

Re: Tamb, do you have a Rock N Play?

  • lol - it must be pretty awesome!
  • I wouldn't know, we don't have one either. I'm with you on not wanting to spend more money on baby gear.

  • That Rock and Play was the best investment EVER.  My son was a terrible sleeper and this worked!  I took it everywhere with me

Tamb my DD and my son both slept in the swing at first because that was the only way I could get some sleep for a stretch at a time.  It was a life saver.

I understand you want to go by the doc's advice but I just wanted to let you know that I had no issues and it really helped all of us get over that hump.

  • I am not going to lie I am pretty damn excited about our RNP. No such thing exsisted with J and I spent the first month trying to find a safe way to replicate exactly what this thing does. It is genius!
  • I don't plan to have any children for 3-5 years. Yet I've saved a couple of Rock N Play raves in my future baby files. I know that there will be a newer/ better thing in half a decade, but I just can't stop myself. Mothers simply RAVE over this (not just on TN!! I've seen on a couple of other boards, etc!!)
  • After reading these posts, I will definitely be putting the RNP on the baby registry lol

You're going to love it.  It 100% changed my newborn experience with N compared to C.  Truly.

I had zero fear of SIDs, silent choaking while sleeping, etc.

And it's $50...I used that thing for 6 months solid, even after we put N in his crib around 4 months (to plunk him in while i took a shower, etc.)
