I really NEED to talk about 16 & Pregnant!

Did anyone else watch the new episode?  Am I the only one who was totally on the DUDE's side for the first time ever?  I agree that he should have manned up and gone to see his kid more often, but I sure as sh!t would have felt uncomfortable setting foot in that house too!  Ugh, that mother/grandmother was a HORRID person.  I want to slap her face!

  • Yeah I agree. I'm curious what will end up happening there. "you ain't in no white persons home" made me choke on my root beer.

  • Agreed. I think it had to be really awkward and uncomfortable to be in someones house, when you knew that they didn't really want you there. I think his parents probably felt the same way. She should have taken the baby to his house sometimes too.

Right?  WTF does that even mean?

And where did all her kids come from?  lol  For like 90% of the ep, it looked like just the girl and the mom lived there, then in that one scene, it showed like 15 different people and they all said, "Jordan's brother"  lmao

Or at least let him take the baby for a while.  There was nothing that we saw that would make me think she didn't trust him and/or his parents to keep the baby for a few hours.  AND, what was that one snide remark her mom made about how they weren't as clean as her??  There house didn't look dirty to me.  AND AND, all the friends talking about the dad like he was scum just because he wasn't like Brad Pitt looking or something.  He was a computer geek, TEENAGE boy... of course he's not going to be hot or something.  But why does it matter anyway??  And she never even defended him, which I thought was sh!tty.

I completely agree. Their house was not dirty, he didn't "look dirty". He was actually trying to help her out. He bought stuff for the baby, his parents bought stuff for the baby and tried to help her out with her situation in regards to her mom. Then once her mom apologized for how she acted, it was like she completely forgot how her mom treated him, or the fact that he could still be uncomfortable in her mom's house.

I felt really bad for him and his parents. They probably won't get to see the baby very much and she and her mom will use the fact that he isn't coming around as the reason he shouldn't get to see the baby.

I really want to see the Dr. Drew check up show for this couple to see what is going on and to see if Dr. Drew can get her to understand his side of it.

Me too!  I want him to get a season of Teen Dad or something.  lol  But seriously, her mom was just really one of the most awful people I have ever seen in my life.  And I would bet money that Jordan turns out just like her.

What was with all the "I control what drugs you get when you are in labor. You can't get anything unless I sign the papers" crap? Or the "you're mine, so what's yours is mine."? There's nothing like threatening your kid with pain to get your way.

And I think you are right that Jordan will be like her mom. She was already acting like her when she was dealing with Tyler.

It was a trainwreck I couldn't look away from!!!  She definitely needed to have become more assertative and when they moved the stuff out, I thought that might be happening.  Than she moved in with her mother after baby born URGGH poor father and his parents!
