No! I need the bad stuff! lol. I desperately want a baby in the worst way right now but I know it's absolutely not the time. Also, it will be at least four more years before it is the time.
I'm excited for you though and will gush with you over the good stuff.

i would seriously have five kids if michael were down with it.
the smell
the little noises
tiny feet
soft skin
snuggles
little baby butts
and the fact that, no matter how many kids you thought were cute in your life before you had your own baby, nobody will ever have a baby as beautiful as yours. its kind of amazing.
These chicks are whack. Go buy a box of pampers and just sniff that for the baby smell.
SAVE YOURSELF
And then they turn four and return to a more reasonable and funny child. I have never laughed so hard as i do at/with my kid. Hands down the funniest person i have ever met.

Their breath is amazing.
The first time he said ma ma.
When we co-sleep, it's like we're one person - he turns when I turn, we wake up together.
Watching them learn about the world. Even watching me blow up a balloon is amazing to my kid.
The intense amount of totally pure love. It's the first time in my life I've had such an uncomplicated relationship with anyone.
And I will tell you I am NOT a kid person, didn't want babies, so this amount of gushing from me is a serious endorsement of motherhood.
stellas - YOUR kids are hysterical. possibly its also you. your blog cracks me up.
sara - i know this doesn't help, but of all people i wish you could have all the babies bc you are the best mom.
thanks guys - these are good! i'm getting nervous about trying, and reading all the craziness of first few weeks is scary. doesn't help that H is all WOOOO LET'S DO THIS and all excited. and not nervous.
Omg. I have always wanted kids, so has H, and we planned for L and were not at all nervous to have her.
And then she got here. And it has been a million times better than I could have ever hoped for.
The way she falls asleep in my arms.
When she "angry nurses" (I have no way of describing this, she gets this really vicious look on her face and shakes her head back and forth and she really looks like she is just going to attack my boob, when in reality she just licks licks licks it really fast and it brings me to tears with laughter every time)
She smells so good
The absolutely enormous smiles that just light up her face when I go in to get her out of bed in the morning, and then for the rest of the day.
The way she grabs her stuffed pig and talks to it when we're driving in the car.
Watching her discover new things and how she gets SO excited when she learns how to do something that she couldn't do yesterday.
There is absolutely nothing in this world that could possibly make me happier than she does. It's pretty awesome.
DD's newest thing is to run around the house, outstretched hand with wiggling fingers yelling "Tickle, tickle, tickle!"
At bedtime she kisses DH, Kisses me and then motions for DH to kiss me.

They make Phillies gear REALLY REALLY tiny now. fyi.
every year at spring training i die over the adorable baby section in the store at brighthouse field. want it allllll. (so if/when you have #2, keep me posted lol)
Kids are hysterical and I really didn't mind the first 6 weeks at all. I also tell DH that I will punch him in his face if he tells anyone differently. I have pictures of us pumpkin picking when he was only 10 days old, how cool is that?
Also, jackson is super hysterical. He had DH and I in stitches two nights ago. We were laying on the bed and he walks in with his Mater(from cars) stuffed animal and I say "oh, you are bringing in Mater. Did you want to get up here?" He gave the me dirtiest, you must be a moron looks I have ever seen and to go get his Mater bubble lawn mower. He brings that in and puts his hands up and is all "what? here's the mater you wanted."
I still can't get over that he calls himself Jackson and when you ask to him where he belly is he lifts up his shirt and says "bell bell" with his tongue hanging out. It is so bizarre.
Daycare is SO exhausting!

This really is the best. She still does the sleepy giggle every once and a while and I could die. She's lovely, I'm thrilled with her everyday.
