Cooking Two Things @ Once in Oven?

I know it's a stupid question, but I want to cook my chicken and my rice at the same time- both at 375.  How much longer do I need to increase the cooking time?  I always get scared when making chicken.  TIA!!

Are you cooking chicken breasts, thighs, a combination of both, a whole chicken?  It's hard to say without knowing these things.  It's best to use a meat thermometor for best results, 165 degrees for chicken.

You're cooking chicken and rice in the oven in separate containers, and both of the original recipes say bake at 375?  You won't need to increase the cooking time at all--just follow the original recipes.  Just make sure there are a few inches separating the two dishes so that air can circulate freely.

You don't need to mess with the cooking time. Having more than one item baking at the same time doesn't "steal" time from either of the dishes.
