You know, I haven't had a damn cold sore in almost two years. Of course, now that I have plans for the motherfucking weekend, I get one.
GODDDDDAMMMMNNN IT!

Re: FUCKYOUHERPES!
I promise to only judge you silently.
I have the herpes too. Generally when I'm stressed or someone is going to take a picture of me.
I find that putting lots of Abreva on it and then covering that with Aquaphor or Vaseline (like 2,000 times a day) makes it go away faster.
Lysine ointment, Lysine supplements, and tea tree oil.
I learned it on the nest.
You're a pal. lol
It's not really my fault that I have the herp. I've had these*** since I was at least in first grade. I'm not some herpes slut.
lol.
I'll pick some up tomorrow, but I think that's to prevent. Whatever, I'll take some.
That's just cold right there
Have your doctor call in a prescription for valtrex. I keep a filled script to take at the first hint of a cold sore.
They really are stress induced (or trauma if you bite your lip or something).
Love youuuuuuuu
You best sleep with one eye open on Saturday.
MmMmmMmhmmmm.
lol.
Damn.
Damn me and my promises. Oh well.
:::puts away butcher knife::::
Acetone nail polish remover.
Dip a paper towel in some, hold it on the cold sore until it burns. Do this off and on until its gone or for a few hours, it works differently for everyone. Makes them go away in about a day or less.
Seriously, do a Google search for cold sore home remedies and you will get tons of sites talking about how well nail polish remover works. I tried telling it to my mother for years and she refused. She finally tried it last year and now she doesn't bother doing anything else except the nail polish remover. It also seems to lower recurrence of them.
