Oh! I made someone cry today. But in a good way!
I have a student who's kind of a mess. She's never handing anything in on time. I can't say exactly what's up with her, but see she is having a tough time. So I gave her an extension on her term project. And today she came to me and cried and thanked me. And then wrote me an email that tells me how awesome I am and how much she appreciates the second chance I gave her. This is a first, you guys!
