I used their mattress-finder quiz thing, and this is what they recommended to me. I am moving out of my marital home and into an apartment because my H and I are divorcing, so I am looking to furnish my new place on a limited budget. I am both alarmed and intrigued that this mattress is only $349 for a queen-sized. I am thinking of putting it on the Lillesand bedframe with the Sultan Laxeby slatted bed base. I like the idea of not using a box spring because I like a lower bed, especially because my dog is getting older, and it would not be as far for him to jump.
I should note that I am not looking for a mattress that will necessarily last 10-20 years. I plan to stay in debt paydown mode for the next three years (I am working on a CC debt snowball), and then once my budget opens up, there is probably a Tempurpedic in my future. However, I can't afford that just yet, so I would like a mattress to bridge the gap between now and then.
TIA!
Re: Does anyone have the IKEA Sultan Finnvik mattress?
I have a $350-ish mattress from Ikea but I'm not sure what model it is.
I love it. It is very firm, but that is what we like.

I agree with the pp who suggested trying it out if you can. I tried that mattress out this weekend (because of the price), but it was very firm to me. Since you took the quiz, though, I'm guessing you like a firmer mattress; so, it could be a good option.
If, however, you want something plush, the Sultan Hansbo is heaven.
