Somebody make me some french toast
Re: Somebody make me some french toast
Here you go:
mmm
I had French toast once while I was in the hospital, and now I just want more. I always forget about French toast for some reason. I'm going to get some bread and eggs today so I can have some tomorrow morning.
That sounds so good. I AM a fan of deep-fried anything. lol
Anytime I ask my H for something like this the conversation goes as follows:
Me: Hey babe, would you please make me some french toast?
Him: "Poof! You are french toast!" He also gestures like a wizard when as he does it.
lol
smartasss
I LOVE FRENCH TOAST. LOVE.
I also make a savory french toast using rosemary asiago foccacia with carmelized onions on top. YUMMMMMMMY. (No syrup!) It's really really tasty.
I've made it without milk before. It worked marvelously! It was much egg-ier of course but I liked it that way.
I love French toast. We make it with egg, cream, vanilla and cinnamon, and then put powdered sugar and maple syrup on it, using challah.
Sigh. Haven't had it in four years.
Challah French toast is life-changing. If it wouldn't get stale, I'd leave my clothing behind and bring home a suitcase full of the challah from this bakery down the street. They put vanilla in it and it's fluffy and amazing and even better than my mom's.
