I'm a b!tch. I know I am. At least about certain issues.
The first is when someone gets a pet and they clearly do not know anything about owning said pet. I've been burned by family members getting pets and then not being able to afford/care for that pet and turning to me to find a home/rescue for it because "I know about this stuff." I have an extremely short temper when it comes to that stuff.
The second is women's right's issues. I'm super frustrated with this "war on women" bullsh!t. It's obnoxious and a serious set back for women's rights.
What are *YOUR* soapbox issues. What gets you so riled up you know you can't keep your cool. I want to hear about it!
Re: Soapbox
Animal cruelty.
ETA: and BSL
Mine are usually super random and whatever mood I'm in. Some days it's super important topics, others, not so much.
Today I'm feeling pretty petty, so it's turning off your damn ringtone at work.
Legalize pot!
Abortions for everyone!
Smaller government!
That's pretty much it.
I am with you on the women's rights issues, it's one of the reasons the H and I are opposites right now on who we plan to vote for in this year's election.
I am fairly headstrong on wanting a playoff system for college football, rather than the beauty contest we have now called the BCS.
Also, legalizing marijuana for medicinal purposes.
That sucks.
I like to joke that I married a feminist - but my hubby is pretty awesome about all that stuff. He's as big a proponent of women's rights as I am. When I asked him if he was sad that I didn't change my last name when we got married he said, "Fuc.k no! You can have whatever name you want!"
I lub him.
P.S. I think pot should be legalized too. But it doesn't get me heated like the animal thing does.

Definitely irresponsible pet ownership.
I cannot stand people who get pets and then end up dumping them b/c they were too stupid to realize what it would entail to be a pet owner. I would love to throat punch these dumbasses.
I don't mean to imply that my H doesn't care at all about women's rights, because he does, but I meant to say that there are other issues like gun ownership and such that he feels stronger about, which is guiding his decision making moreso than issues like women's rights. If that makes sense.
I am also for gay rights and hate that our state is part of the problem with not recognizing marriage rights for all people, gay or straight.
Oh, husband husband husband. I understand you work hard at work and really don't want to clean the pool but then I have to ask..why the fck did you buy a house with a pool if you don't wanna clean it? It doesn't clean itself. Oh and an "I'm sorry for being snappy earlier because I'm stressed from my projects" doesn't cut it. I have never snapped at you because I was under stress. Deal with it.
**kicks soapbox**
Got it. That makes sense. But I'd probably still be annoyed by it.
Yes, gay rights are super important to me (and my hubby as well). We have a lot of gay friends and it is difficult to see them feeling like "second class citizens."
Sometimes, it's things like the war on women and the whole marriage is between a man and a woman thing that make me really hate religion in general.
Man, I'm full of rage today. I think I woke up on the wrong side of the bed!

Actually, I'm with you on this. This is also an everyday rage-y topic I can get quite heated about.
Animal cruelty is my only really ragey one.
Though I feel strongly about pro-choice (your body, you should be able to do what is best for you), gay marriage (everyone should be able to be happily spending their live with whomever they choose) and legalizing mary (treat it like alcohol--taxed, age-restricted, etc.)
