My hair is naturally wavy in the back but in the front its straight. I remember a hairdresser telling me they can partially wave/perm the front so it matches. I would LOVE to do this in the summer so I could just let my hair air dry and look good. (If I blow dry my hair straight, my wavy part never stays straight in the Houston humidity).
Does this really exist? What do I ask for? Where should I get this done? Thanks!
Re: wave/perm question
I had a perm before, and it made my life so much easier! Be aware of the damage, but as long as you take good care of your hair it isn't awful. Yes, it is possible, but you may speak to your hairdresser about having some perm put in the back as well, just to see what your options are. Ask for a consultation before you book the appointment, that way he/she can explain the whole process to you and your options.
You would explain to her what you want, and ask for a partial wave. She'll need to see your hair though to determine how much to use/how strong the solution should be etc.
