Where is a good place for a weekend get away?
Hubby and I were having issues and we are fixing those.
Where would be a good place to just drop everything and go for the weekend?
Re: weekend get away
As much of the above as possible as well as cheap
We live in VA. I want to be abele to enjoy the weekend and not travel the whole time
I'm a middle of the country person, but I suggest just finding an inn or a motel, turning off your cell phones and calling it good.
Virginia is for lovers! LOL
These are the times I open up the 1000 places to see in the US before you die book and pick a place close to home that we have never been to.
We ended up in St. Michaels, MD two years ago and it was a lot of fun. Cute town, breweries, good food.
Monticello? That is always on those lists.
If you don't want to spend a lot of time traveling I would just go through this and pick something

I vote Lexington. It's one of my favorite places on the planet. VMI, Washington & Lee, battlefields, history, mountains, amazing little places to stay.
