I'm running my next half marathon on Sunday
I'm not feeling great about it. I just don't think I've had any great runs in awhile. I've been sick and while I'm mostly over it I'm still coughing a bit when I exert and I've been slower. Actually my speed has been all over the place lately. I know I'll finish, I just don't know how long it will take. I need to get more excited for it and that would help.

Re: I'm running my next half marathon on Sunday
I'm no help probably. My excitement over the half I ran a few weeks ago was limited to being excited it was almost over. lol.
You'll do great though! I know you will! B/c you're not a slacker like I am.
Updated September 2012.
Yay for you!
Do you listen to music when you run? You should start looking for some new awesome music... I bet that would pump you up.
Do you/have you ever used the Nike running app? It links to your iTunes and allows you to choose "power songs" that you can just hit a button when you're feeling sluggish during your run and it will play your motivators.
It also can link to FB and when someone likes your run or comments on it, you will hear a little cheer.
GL! You'll be great!
Good luck St.Pete! You've got this, it will be fine!
I'm running my second one next Saturday and I'm completely unprepared for it. My long runs consist of one 9 miler, one 10 1/2 miler and maybe 2 7's... and according to the 'plan' on my fridge, I should be doing an 11 this weekend. Not gonna happen!
My original goal was to beat my previous time (from 3 years and one kids ago), now I'm just hoping to finish without getting injured.
And my ipod is frozen or something so it won't let me put any more music on it. So I'm listening to my music from the half I ran 3 years ago. The Rocky theme song is no longer inspiring!
Im running a half this Sunday and am currently alternating between vurreh excited and super nervous. I didn't finish my last one (combination of sick, dehydrated, and undertrained) and that was only 5-6 weeks ago. I've completed 5 in the last year ish, so I know I can do it, I just haven't been able to get in enough long runs.
I like the idea of the cheers along the way though. It would be super obnoxious to let that AND runkeeper post to FB right?
