Had a near death experience? Yes, twice. Once when I had salmonella as a kid when I was in Mexico and the other time is when I was hit by a drunk going 120 mph and we flipped over 4 1/2 times.

Stood up to a bully? Yes, there was a guy in Spain that was hitting his GF and my niece, her BF and I did everything we could to put a stop to it.

Picked up a hitchhiker? Well, this old man wasn't hitchhiking per say, but he was walking with a walker and had a long way to go before he got to the hospital, so I stopped and offered him a ride. He accepted.

YES! I was already a very thin person at the time. It was my senior year and I dropped down to below 100 pounds and I am 5?5?. I lost a third of my hair which never grew back and had raccoon eyes. I couldn?t eat anything besides popsicles for at least 2 weeks.

Had food poisoning? Yes, too many times to count. The worst couple times were from a baked potato from Wendy's back in HS and a hot dog from a circus. I still won't eat baked potatoes from Wendy's, and if I have a hot dog, I have to cook it myself (or watch someone grill it in front of me).

Had a near death experience? I was just thinking about this today, as a matter of fact. I have asthma and had a very serious sudden attack and stopped breathing. Last thing I remember I was falling onto the bathroom floor. My husband saved my life.

He was housesitting for her while she was on vacation and we had sort of an open door policy, so I just walked right in to the kitchen to drop something off. Where he was standing in front of the stove. Nekkid. He referred to it as the time I saw him in is "altogether" which I had never heard before. We ate at his home many times in the ensuing years (my husband and he have both passed away) but I never could picture him cooking with clothes on after that.
