Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Yay! Appointment!
I just received a call from a local endocrinologist's office. My PA's referral went thru! Yay! (the PA wasn't sure that it would, and warned me that Tricare might refuse it when I last spoke with her)
Unfortunately, they don't have any new patient appointments until nearly the end of June. But, I have an appointment now...
(background: I have been dealing with classic hypothyroid-like symptoms for over a year, possibly longer, but my lab numbers are not quite showing as hypo, so the PA can't/won't treat me... instead, she decided I must be depressed, even against the advice of the psychologist she referred me to... Counselling and antidepressants did nothing for the symptoms. I'm willing to accept that it might not be hypothyroid that is causing the symptoms, but something in my system isn't working right, and I need to figure out what the heck it is...)
