Re: doglove!

  • No, he got adopted, which is okay by me. IDK if you saw my post about moving, so we decided to put fostering/ideas of another dog on hold until we figure out what is going to happen. I think it's for the best - I know I want a dog to squash my sad feelings of loss and that's probably not the best reason to get a new pup!

The first dog we initially looked at the shelter is on craigslist today. He was a black lab. I was sad to see it wasn't working out in his new family and emailed to ask why. The lady said he bit her daughter in the face. Ugh.

How's your dog situation? Any updates?

  • I just read your post. Sounds like it is a good plan until you figure out the living situation. And getting adopted is a good thing! Plus you could still volunteer if you wanted to get your "fix".

Still at 2 pups! There is another gray male pittie at the other local shelter in my area. I am trying to be strong and hold out though. I just feel bad though because he has been there a week already. And it is a kill shelter Sad

  • Ohh that's hard. I can understand. I want a dog to pet on so badly, but I am trying to keep in mind where I am at right now and talk myself out of it. I try to hug our lab and she just can't wait for me to finish and throw her a toy to fetch.
