Mine is not, thankfully. An upside to working someplace that's locked down tighter than Fort Knox.

My work does this, though it is called "Take your children to work day" rather than "offspring" since there are several family?s that are blended.
YES! Growing up I was always sad that my dad's company didn't do this. We're now working together for our own company and I said to him today on our way to a meeting about how excited I was to go to work with him (even though it's my work too). I know this sounds dumb but I used to get really upset about this when I was a kid so I was really happy today that I was the kid finally being taken to work

Heavenly, our office uses "son or daughter" in place of offspring...I was being a bit facetious, since I don't really like children.
MCC, my parents owned their own business that they ran out of our basement when I was growing up, so I was never allowed to go to "Take Your Child to Work" Day, since it would just mean staying home from school! Plus, they said I could always help them out on days when I had off from school but they were still working...they were such hardasses!
I'm sure they are, but DD is still too young.
When I was pregnant with her, I announced my pregnancy via Facebook and said something like..even though yesterday was the official bring your kid to work day, I will be bringing my kid with me to work every day until some time in late October. And then I made an ultrasound pic my profile pic. That post got quite a few responses. LOL.
Nah, thankfully it's standardized testing this week.
I like kids, too, just not while im working. I'm grouchy enough as it is when I'm in this place!
Hmm, I haven't seen anything official, but bringing your kids by is something that happens quite a bit, especially on family Fridays or when there's something interesting going on. I'm not a huge fan of kids but usually they stick with their parents and we all have private offices (at least in my building) so nbd.
I think that would be a little more challenging if I had to interact with them more.
