Critique my meals

Hey ladies - I have been really trying to eat healthy lately and get better at my fitness goals.  I'd like to start posting more on this board and contributing to the planned eating and exercising.  Could I get some feedback on the past two days of my meals??  You guys are great inspiration : )

Wednesday:

Breakfast: FiberOne with flaxseed, walnuts, blueberries and milk (skim)

Snack:  Cottage cheese and almonds

Lunch:  leftovers (phyllo pie with chicken, onions, spinach, tomatoes goat cheese), apple with peanut butter

Dinner:  Turkey meatloaf with roasted pepper and onions

Thursday:

Breakfast:  FiberOne with flaxseed, walnuts, blueberries and milk (skim)

Snack:  Grapes, almonds

Lunch:  Out for AP Day, sushi with edamame

Dinner:  Quinoa with tomatoes, spinach and mozarella.  Maybe some sherbert for dessert.

Re: Critique my meals

  • Wednesday: I'd say overall it looks pretty good. Maybe add some more veggies or fruit. It may be a bit low on calories. Do you track calories? Did you eat a 2nd snack? You could also try adding in some other good fats like avocado. Almonds are good, too, but you are already eating those. 

    Thursday: Again, I'd add in a second snack. Maybe some Greek yogurt with fruit or an apple w/PB or the cottage cheese you had on Wed.  I'm glad you ate out! I think we all need to balance eating out, eating what we want, and being healthy.
