Penny's ear, a cautionary tale. PIPs added.

So, Penny said her ear hurt.

So I took her to the dr.

The dr looked in her ear and went, "WOAH. I have never seen an abscess like that before." The dr called in the other dr. They looked together. They showed the medical assistants.

They prescribed antibiotics, to no avail. I could still see the abscess. P still said it didn't hurt, but it was still there.

So back to the dr. Dr looks again, says, "hmmm, I think it's gotten bigger. This is out of my field, that probably needs to be removed let me refer you to an ent."

So, we go. At this point I am stressed. Ear thing removal surgery sounds no fun.

So, the ENT looks in her ear. "Woah he says, how long has that been there?"

2 weeks I answer. He looks again. He says hmmm. He says, " I think that's a bead." I say, "No way nice doctor. No way. It got bigger."

He pokes at it. It's a bead.

A pink bead.

In her ear.

Now, in my pocket.

Fin.
