Adopted a dog and then sold it shortly thereafter

Schnauzer Rescue of the Carolinas, Inc. is issuing a DO NOT ADOPT on the above mentioned persons who submitted an application, actually completed an approval process and recently adopted a small dog from SRC. MACKIE (SRC1147) who is a Pekingese/ShihTzu Mix. This dog was fully vetted and had been treated for Demadex. He was on his last month of medication so SRC furnished this medication to the Sullivans along with other items to help with the adoption. All this had been fully explained to the Sullivans and they were very anxious to adopt this little boy. There were follow up phone calls and emails done by our SRC Intake Coordinator to assure that the adoption was going well where Mrs. Sullivan stated that all was going very well up to the day before Lynn sold this dog on Craig?s List! When selling the dog she told the people that she sold the dog to that their family had owned the dog for over 6 months when she had actually just adopted him and her application was only submitted to SRC the first of April! SRC strongly recommends that any shelter or rescue dealing with these people refuse to allow them any further animals to sell.
