Colors on the wall, a warm taupe with cream and white accents (moldings/quarter round). There is burgundy/red in the room adjacent, and lots of warm wood. Earthy but not hippie. Still clean.

Apple, I seriously love it. I like that the dog bones are kind of small, but there. Very cute.
This is sort of embarrassing to admit but whenever we need a new rug for the door we go to K Mart...you may not even have those around you....
We have 2 dogs and a cat so we replace rugs every 2 years or so.
They are always pretty cheap and not butt ugly.
we have two of these. one at the front door and one at the patio door. I believe they were like 22 dollars? Maybe less.
