A kid funny.
Getting Charlotte to sleep is generally a drawn out process of reading lots of books, her sitting on her step stool before climbing into bed, reading more books, song requests, etc. Getting out of the room is tricky because she keeps trying to come up with stuff to keep you there.
anyway, now, when I am wrapping things up she'll tell me "Mommy has to go potty" and I tell her "that's right, I do" and for some reason, this makes it ok for me to leave her. I wonder if I am spending too much time in the restroom.

I am definitely not going to argue. I think the first time this even came up I was all "OK, mommy has to go, I have stuff to do" and she immediately responded with "Mommy has to go to the potty" and she is so serious.
LOL. That's funny.
Rocco is a total clingon in the morning. When we get up he stands in the kitchen while I make coffee, comes in and sits on the bathroom floor while I pee....the other day, he actually sat on my lap while I peed. On his knees on my thighs with his arms wrapped in a vice-like grip around my neck. Good times.
I just spit out my drink. That's hilarious.
