AW: It's my NYC weekend with S
I am SO excited. I miss NYC so much, and I love going back to visit. I wish it wasn't so expensive to live there, or I'd move back in a heartbeat.
I've got a half-day today, we hop on the 1:00 bus, and I think we've got an awesome weekend planned. Dinner tonight with one of my best friends from college. He's got my dream job, and is a total riot. I'm really sad his wife and baby are out of town, b/c I wanted to see them too, but I'm just elated to be spending time with him -- and for him and S to get to know one another better.
Tomorrow and Sunday from 11-6 we're at a comic and cartoon festival. Clearly, he's more stoked about this than I am (he's a really talented artist, and he loves comics), but I'm excited to see him in his element. Saturday evening we're going to wander around downtown, do some shopping, hit some bars, maybe meet up with another friend.
And I learned that a really cool bar with an excellent beer and scotch selection is a mere 2 blocks from our hotel. Their food menu looks kind of awesome, too, and the kitchen is open until 2 a.m. Nice to know there's a good place around the corner for a nightcap and a snack.
So, yeah. I'm in a really good mood today!

I know how you feel about hotel pooping. I tense up so much when I go away with men that I end up not pooping for days and with a terrible stomach ache. I have pooping-around-men issues. Hope things are smooth and scent-less!
