paint colors for open concept

Hi girls,

I haven't been on this board in forever but I'm desperate at this point for some input.  I am painting foyer, family room and kitchen - all same as we have open concept.  I want a tan color as I am not loving grays as I think they are too cool for my decor.  I have about 11 paint samples on my walls right now as I just can't see what I want. would you mind helping or suggesting any colors you have liked that would go? Beautiful house!  I don't have any paint color suggestions but was wondering if you could share a picture of the stairs from right when you walk in the front door?  We are building a house with a similar layout and would love to see real-life pictures.

Gorgeous home!  For our new home, which is very open concept I used a palette of neutrals for the main areas of the house from SW- it is a swatch that has Nomadic Desert & Latte on it.  They are tans that have a yellowish undertone & are very warm.  Throughout the house I used different neutrals from that swatch, in addition to some accent walls & I am really happy with how they turned out.

thank you both! I actually used latte in my son's room and love it.  I will check out the other as well. I heard that from someone else.

Very nice home   We also have an open concept fp and it is currently a builder's beige that I need to change up as well.  I don't have any color options, but wanted to ask you where you got your new master bedding?  I really like it

We have used Glidden Water Chestnut and have been very happy with the color!

You already mentioned you have it in your son's room, but we have Latte in our open concept house as well, and so does my aunt.  I love that color!

hmm, it was one of the paisley sets. It was awhile ago that we bought it. Let me think I might be able to come up with it.

I used Kelly Moore's Snip of Tannin in all my living areas and hallway. There are no undertones...it's just a very light, neutral color. I'm really happy with it.
