Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I took some video last night and the files are to big to upload. How can I make them smaller?

What file extension are they now?

And either to facebook, or email for my husband to see

How? My husband was the one who did all this stuff.
What operating system are you using? You should be able to right click the file and either click Get Info (MAC) or Properties (Windows) to find out 1) the file extension and 2) the file size.
