Tonight is date night.
We have a hotel room on the beach so we can drink and mozy from restaurant to restaurant listening to various bands and eventually stumble back to our hotel for some good ol' fashioned marital relations. To say that I am excited is an under statement.

I am going to have to try and remember to at least kiss my kid goodbye and not drop him off and run out the door.

2 weeks from today is our date night (5th anniversary) and I can't wait to get the hell away from both kids overnight! I haven't done it yet and I'm super excited.

I don't doubt it! I love my kid more than life itself, but momma needs a break.
The only time I was away overnight (a 2 night bach party) was a week after I found out I was pg with DD. not the kind of weekend I was expecting.
