I'm learning things about business every day
I was really happy because our gross has been up this quarter- at a record high. I got my quarterly report back from the accountant and realized that the expenses it took to create that grown ate up almost all the profit. Profit as a percentage of total income actually went down .75%.
It's not a big deal and the fact that we are growing overall is awesome. Part of the increase in expense is from hiring new people and old people making more money, which is fantastic and I hope it continues. It's just a learning lesson that no one number can really be the sole indication of success or profitability.
This post just boredtheshit out of anyone who actually read it, huh?

Thanks again for your help investigating my fancy painting I bought at the Good Will. The frame shop went out of business so my investigation continues!
