s/o - what was your first nest memory?
i remember i started lurking around halloween. i think the first post i saw was a fav halloween candy post.
and then, not long after, i remember some weird sh?t going down between LHC and Mod. i didn't know the "voice" of the board yet and couldn't believe how heated it got. it just seemed so harsh back and forth.
i think lhc was sharing her writing then, too...

i told this last weekend in my ambien rambling post...
i remember tamb talking about wanting to do hair. and then possibly moonlighting at a grocery store. i thought there was no way she was a lawyer, why would she want to do hair? i was so confused.
i also remember immm giving tamb a lot of shiiit for buying some hair rollers when they were having money troubles or something like that.
i lurked very infrequently for a really long time, so it was hard to remember who was who, so a lot of it is a blur. it's really weird when you don't "know" the people or the tone of the board.
eta: and the rugs graceland wanted/bought.
maaaaannnn... I think my first memory was on the Knot back in '93 when I was all wrapped up in my "IVORY" wedding gown matching with my "IVORY" linens.

This has been bugging me lately though. I remember someone posting, probably roughly 2 years-ish ago about sitting their child down for supper and the kid wouldn't eat and they wouldn't let the kid leave the table and it was hours later and the kid still refused to eat.
And I can't remember who it was, and that has been bugging me SO MUCH, even though I have no idea why this randomly popped in my head in the first place.
I'm thinking it might have been Ombligo, because it sounds like something Kristen might do, with the stubborness?

Lol, I've been afraid someone was going to steal my identity since like 1990 so no bio for me! I miss those though, you could tell so much about someone.
i was on BOTB when it was on the nest as soon as i got my bfp in 2005. i made the jump over to ML soon after jonah was born.
all i really remember is my first real flaming. i had complained that dh was impatient and easily frustrated by the new baby and Mod got the whole board spun up about my h being an abusive ass because i thought he'd hurt the baby...which i totally didn't think at all. i got SO upset.
the weird part is that LHC called and left me a voicemail after I signed off telling me to ignore Mod, and i don't remember LHC and i hanging out that long ago
eta: pre-2005, i was trying to use the knot as an actual wedding resource. i had no idea about the boards. LOL!

I remember gracelands rugs. She got *** about them because they were small area rugs that went in her kitchen, and they were weird looking and about a thousand dollars a piece.
Lets see what else, Scotty and I back when she was rip didnt get along. Immm was always coming down on Lovedan and Stellas. I'm sure I have more first time memories I can't think of right now lol.

I posted a stupid question on BOTB about drinking while TTC and got flamed. It was summer 2005 and I had just graduated from the Knot. Then I got so upset I made a new nest name and came back with no more stupid questions. Well almost, lol.
I came to ML that fall, and I remember tonif getting on my case the first day, and then being nice once I complimented brutus. remember Brutus? I think he lives on a farm now ;0)

I remember getting flamed by Belle4whatever because she apparently doesn't understand sarcasm. I was new and felt so stupid.
Then, I read a few of her posts and felt pretty smart again, lol.

The username badges tonif made they were of cute animated type girls with our names on them.
one night, it got out that my dh looked like rick moraniss and because we all used the links that tonif gave she had the power to switch out the sig pics. one night she switched mine to a spaceballs photo was yelling at me because I couldn't see it. all I had to do was refresh it.
