No SO related, my neighbor's dog :(

Again, I don't post much here, but I know there are some animal lovers in the group.  I was in the backyard with the kids this evening and they told me to look at the neighbor's dogs nose, because it has a booboo and needs a band-aid :(  They were with the babysitter for a couple hrs today and the sitter told them that the people who live there don't take care of the dog.  The sitter is our neighbor from across the street.

When I looked at the dog (I could see it kind of through the fence...) the dogs nose was all scabbed up and his little ear had a chunk taken out of it, like a friggin' flesh wound.  What should I do???  This is disturbing to me! :(

  • Call animal control. They will investigate and make sure the dog is cared for.

This.  Be prepared that you may need to call a few times to follow up and make sure they send someone.
